The Giver cover

The book by Lois Lowry "The Giver" has a cover that really sends thoughts through my mind. When I looked at this cover I thought about an old man who had experiences of a dystopia "Bad" type of town. There is also a forest on the side and that makes me think about the pollution and how it is killing trees. The old man really looks like he's been in a lot of pain when he was younger. The old man looks like a nice man that had experiences and tell you what not to do in a perfect town.
This picture reminds me of a veteran from Vietnam who has had experiences of war which is an extreme dystopia situation. But seriously, The guy on the cover looks like he's been through a lot. This cover is really touching

Area 51

In case you have not noticed, There is this secret military base in the middle of the desert near Rachel, Nevada. There was reports of mysterious lights and Unidentified Flying Objects around the area. The weirdest part is, If you past the signs that say "RESTRICTED AREA. NO TRESPASSING BEYOND THIS POINT", You will immediately get charged and arrested. Travelers also said Area 51 has the largest runway in the world!!! Also, people had say that they worked for the military and been inside Area 51. They say that they test "Extraterrestrials" inside there. There was once a boy who was VERY good at juggling and just happened to see a sign that said: "Talent show auditions after school in the auditorium!!! Have a chance to show people your true skills!!!". He was was very excited over this one poster. The very bottom of this poster said "Talent show winner gets to be in Johhny Depps new movie!". The boy was so excited he yelled in the middle of the hallway. As the boy went to his next class, he was looking at the clock about every five seconds for the bell to ring. As the school day came to an end , the boy bolted straight to the auditorium. When he pushed the two wooden doors open he saw a HUGE line leading to backstage."This is going to take a while" The boy said in sadness.

As the boy looked at the people auditioning, He noticed the people looked bored and tired. One was even doing his homework in a chair. The boy then looked at the student on stage singing Forget You by Cee Lo Green. "This student was extremely horrible" The boy thought. He was off key, took breaths in the middle of sentences, coughed like a thousand times, and stumbled when he tried to show off his "fancy" moves. "No way this guy is going to make it in" The boy thought to himself. The boy DEFINITELY did not make it in to the talent show. When he was kicked off the teacher said "He was kicked off because he did not practice enough". As the line grew shorter, shorter, and shorter it was finally my time to shine. I asked if they have juggling balls and they definitely do. The boy went up on stage where there stood the principal, guidance counselor, and the social studies teacher. They each had a note pad in their hand with a pen writing down stuff. I then began to do my magic and started to juggle. I did tricks behind my back and other things. Well, lets just say it got me into the talent show that takes place 3 days from now.

The boy practiced all day and all night trying to do this very hard trick called "The helicopter". Thats when you through two balls in the air and  make them switch positions. It's very hard to master because after the you have to keep on juggling after that. The day of the talent show the auditorium was packed with people from all over the state. Johhny Depp was even sitting next to the principal. "The people that did their magic did fine but not as good as me" The boy thought to himself. After all the people went it was only me and this kid. When the student went up he then took tennis balls out of his pocket and started juggling. "is this guy serious?" The boy questioned to himself. "This guys not even doing tricks he's just juggling normally" The boy thought. After that train wreck went up it was finally me time to shine. I took my juggling balls out and started juggling while doing tricks. The underhand, The cartwheel, The impact I did all of them. Now it was my grande finale witch was to do The helicopter! As I was juggling I then threw the two balls in the air and switched positions with them. I did it!!!! I finally did the hardest juggling trick!!!!!.

The day after the talent show they announced the winners of it. It was me and that other juggling student that I was talking about. We are going to fly to Los Angeles with Johhny and play two circus clowns in his new movie!!!!! Me and the other student were awesome at acting! I can't wait for the next talent show!!!!!!

Revenge of mother nature

If you were watching the news lately you would see something like : Japan citizens suffer, Nuclear reactor in danger and Explosions heard at 3 am. If you don't know what happened to Japan (which is nearly impossible) A big 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck the side of Japan and finished it off with a HUGE tsunami. This only happened last Friday and they are already starting donations, food drives,etc. Right now as we speak Japan citizens are suffering because of this wasteland         which was their homes before this.
   The nuclear reactors in china is having a slight meltdown and if it's not cooled down the reactor will malfunction. If it is not cooled down it will release a HUGE amount of radiation which will leave Japan begging on its knees for mercy. But right now people are trying to cool down the reactor and find the people who are not classified dead or injured yet. The Salvation army is out there serving meals and helping the injured. If you want to help with this problem donate some money to Japan quake and tsunami relief or the Red Cross.  

Dear Mom and Dad,
                     As your son I understand that you want to keep me safe most of the time but I want a Go-Kart. To me this Go-Kart is very safe because I will always take care of It and always wear my helmet. I will make sure to ride it in wide open areas so I'm not most likely to crash. Since it costs too much I will help pay for it. All the money I get I will give it to you to help pay for the go-kart. I will also only ride on nice days in the spring not in the winter. I will be very responsible with the Go-Kart and always remember the rules and the safety measures at all times. I will also take responsibility for my actions. If I follow these rules the Go-Kart will be very safe and I will be very safe.
The gas in the Go-Kart will be my responsibility and if I run out of gas I would pay it with my money. . My decision is a little bit better because I would have full responsibility with this “vehicle” and take thI'm most likely not to run out of gas because it’s winter and I'm not going to risk my life out theree consequences. I am asking for this Go-Kart now but I don’t want it any time soon because of the weather of this month. I also respect the decisions you make with me and my Go-Kart. I will also be not selfish with my Go-Kart and let other family members use it if they want to.
When I get the Go-Kart I will not ask to fix the chain on my bike almost every month. This will also be a lesson of responsibility to me. This vehicle is MY responsibility so you don’t have to worry about it being annoying. I would get to places ALOT faster so you don’t have to wait for me for 2 hours coming home from 711. This vehicle is under full responsibility and appreciation by me so there’s nothing really dangerous about this Go-Kart except for crashing, Which is not going to happen. I’ve shown full responsibility so all I can say now is “please?”

Tuck Everlasting Summary

In the beginning of the book a ten year old girl named Winnie runs away to discover why the wood is so creepy and why people detour around it. When Winnie is in the wood she discovers a 17 year old boy named Jesse. Jesse then tells Winnie about the "Magical" spring and tells her to promise not to tell anyone. Since Winnie thinks Jesse is handsome Jesse tells Winnie to drink the spring when she is seventeen so they can get married because the spring makes people live forever! Jesse's mother, Mae Tuck, Comes and kidnaps Winnie. Later in the story a stranger in yellow suit knows so much about Winnie and the Tucks. They then have to protect the spring because if someone discovers it then they might try to sell it for a high price.    

Freak The Mighty

Freak the mighty is a great book because of the twists and turns. If you read this magnificent book you will discover that at first the book doesn't really make sense. But as you continue through the book the pieces start getting into place. The book is very funny because it feels like Max (the tall one) is actually telling the story so it's like a primary source. Freak (the one on the shoulders of Max) is a very interesting character because he almost has the knowledge of Albert Einstein. But some secrets about him will almost be never revealed. Not even to a soul mate. Grim and Gram are also a couple of interesting  characters because they take care of Max while his dad is in jail and his mom dead so they have their moments with Max throughout the story. Grim is basically a nickname for Grandpa but Max calls him Grim because it is much shorter. Grim is really protective because he has a gun just because he thinks Max's dad A.K.A Killer Kane might escape from jail and come to their house. Gram is really sensitive and always want to make peace. For example, She cried because Grim had a gun and Gram didn't accept guns in their household. Thats why I like the characters from the book Freak The Mighty.
I like this book because the book is very down to earth and it actually feels like your reading from Max's journal. This book is about Freak and Max in their misadventures like almost having a close shave by Tony D. Freak is hiding his sickness from Max because if Max finds out Freak will think Max won't treat him the same. But later in the book his sickness becomes serious. Freak has some sort of relationship with Max's shoulders because when they got chased by Tony D. and his gang, Freak was on Max's shoulders for the whole chase. Therefore I think Freak The Mighty is an excellent book and I hope a sequal comes out.
